In the finale, we learn that the castaways are no longer “a group” but “a family,” and that their reunion is about “the bonds between people,” but also “a journey,” with “new beginnings and new faces.”
But if we’re going to get to the heart of what happened in the episode, we’ll need to wait a bit longer for the next episode.
After the finale aired, CBS asked the cast members if they’d like to do an interview.
“I want to be a part of this, but I want to do it right,” said Tai.
“And I want you to know, I’m the first person to say I’m still a fan, but if we do this right, it will be a celebration of what Survivor is all about.”
The episode, titled “Risk,” is airing on May 13 at 8 p.m. ET.
